I was so intrigued by what I had learned during an author takeover. As I read this I couldn't help but to have flashbacks of my teen years, and feel for Dominique. Imagine going through regular teen emotions, drama, and then add more weight on top of it when you learn you are special? That earth might be holding by a thread and you are the key.
So many key characters, multiple personalities, and emotions that draw you in. The writer definitely draws you in with her style of writing, wonderful details, and a twist to keep you on your toes. And what the heck, why not toss a love triangle.
This book had me on edge with the detailed scenes of her past as she began to remember her past lives. You can feel her emotions as your own. I was torn on whether or not I would like her, but I had to admire her strength and courage as she began to grow stronger within herself. Regardless of the danger she faced she stayed strong.
I have to admit I didn't enjoy seeing her torn between a past love and a possible current. Yet intrigued of the outcome and how it will play. Since you can tell from the beginning that both Trent and Farrell will be keys in helping her. So, if your looking for a read with some action, drama, love, and a bit of the extraordinary check out this book and the ones to follow in the Transhuman Chronilces. Rose weaves a great story that will have you tangled in its web.
